It has been announced that the replacement for the retiring Mrs Rhoda Poyser is the current Deputy Head Mr Purser.

I understand after an open interview with outside candidates in front of staff, pupils and LEA representatives that he was a very good candidate and a very popular choice amongst the current staff.

In these harsh times it will be interesting to see how he manages the challenge just as my child is coming out of Nursery into Reception.

He has very tough shoes to step into.
