This story in the Great Barr Observer is sadly inevitable – LINK
Parking outside any school is simply a recipe for disaster. I do drive occasionally to pick up my daughter but always careful and mindful of the local residents. Sadly I have seen poor behaviour from others who want to shave 5 seconds off a walk.
Sorry to say that this is typical of modern life where everything is a rush and people can not wait a few minutes or walk extra. Personally during school pick up and put down times I would impose a 1km radius of no parking. After all for the vast majority of people they live within that distance to where their kids go to school.
What is wrong with walking ?
imposing any controls is pointless ,there is no one to police any bad behaviour.
