Midlands Today ! Pheasey is NOT Kingstanding

Thanks to Paul Jones who has pointed this out to me on Twitter.

Last night Midlands Today ran a story of a lad who was refused access to his bike on a bus. The LINK is available for a few more hours but it can be clearly seen that this is Pheasey.

The story righty pointed out how unfair that National Express were to refuse the boy and they acted correctly in instructing the drivers to accept the bike, well done. Of course their spokesman is Jack Kelly who was well known around here as the Labour candidate in a couple of elections and is a Pheasey lad !!

So for Ben Sidwell to say that we are Kingstanding is wrong. We get left out enough as it is and most buses have had Pheasey removed now 😦

It is important therefore to claim our right to be noticed in any story and we have asked Ben on his twitter account to correct this. I hope he can put out a correction, we deserve to be mentioned !

  1. “We get left out enough as it is and most buses have had Pheasey removed now” – Ian you need to get out more and use the buses as they all have “Pheasey” on their scrolling digital destination boards – 33, 934, 997 and 5. Even the 46 (the Hamstead one) displays Pheasey on those off-peak daytime journeys that go to the terminus on Collingwood Drive.
