As you have read recently in the Gt Barr Observer the owners of the Phone mast at the Cat and Fiddle wish to replace it one with 20cm higher.
Valerie Vaz MP and the local councillors have been quoted as against this move but I have to say that the issue has moved on now. It is clear that the Council’s planning department failure to properly notify of the rejection of the mast has been laid open in court for all to see. The battle has been lost.
I understand why people may want to continue and that is their right to do so.
What we should always remember is irrespective of the debate over the impact of the mast is that it was REJECTED and that is where the failure lies.
