Campaign to save the Library steps up

The campaigns to save not just Pheasey Library but the rest of them in the Borough has stepped up.

Eldest-of-five Charlotte, of Morland Road, Pheasey, who attends Barr Beacon Language College, said: “The library is not just a library, it’s a really nice place to go with activities and the internet.”

She added: “We don’t have anything else in the area like it.

Finally on Charlotte’s Facebook page we have a letter from Councillor Adrian Andrew on the prospects of the Library closing
and it does seem to rest on the use of volunteers. That is fine if people have the time to spare but in this busy world who has that time ?
