Round up of news on Pheasey and the Library.

Very good news as work starts on the old Garage on Beacon Road with wooden fence posts started to be put up. In a few moths time there will be a new dentist based there changing the for the better.

In a conservative party leaflet delivered last week they have confirmed two pieces of news

1) The application mast on the corner of Waverley Avenue and Beacon Road has been turned down

2) The mess that is the Cat and Fiddle Island will be finally sorted out with the Island lowered. No idea why the council designed the original one, always caused trouble there.

Finally the latest news on the future of the Library is that there is no closure plan for it at the moment but it is clear that the future depends on a number of the council’s plans working and it does appear a use it or lose it situation is apparent.
