Whilst not directly related to us, I am sure many of us have used this 1960’s monstrosity over the years. Well it fell into neglect a while ago and whilst Farmfoods hung on, its future was doomed once the application for a Lidl passed.
Well here we are some photos from today showing it being demolished. I know people like to think the past was better but it really was not as for structures like this. See also how bad Chemlsley Wood Shopping centre was.

News and Views about Pheasey Park Farm 
I hope that the Kingstanding pub will be demolished as part of the Lidl scheme as this is also an eyesore. Unlike The Trees MacDonalds scheme, the new Lidl should not impact adversely on traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
It is being demolished as well, looks like the centre first but that is fenced off and the fire was ‘useful’ there !!
Yeah no real impact on traffic there as easy access on and off as per the old one was. Should state Duncan if a lidl was proposed for the trees then I would be against then simply because you have so many spokes on/off it. Two Queslett, Kings road, Colling wood, Romney, Lambeth and all the service roads.
Crazy to think the council basically waving the McD’s one through it seems. Feel so sorry for anyone living on Romney Road and the Queslett service road.
