A couple of updates for you.
On the McDonalds app at the Trees the deadline for consultations etc has been extended to the end of June. Reading the papers recently attaching nothing in there to suggest if planners will recommend to approve or reject it.
Then we had the local elections on Thursday and congrats to Cllr Andrew for winning again and basically the result in Pheasey and wider walsall were one of the bright spots for local Tories with much the same as before.
Council composition is now as below. Remembering of course a number left Labour in disagreement over Gaza.
Of course Walsall Local politics is never quiet nor settled so now we have the news that the Leader and local councillor Mike Bird has been suspended buy the Conservatives.
Quite a few articles out there describing what happened (as much as anyone knows) and the latest is at the Conservative group meeting last night it appears Mike turned up and now as formed a group called Conservatives and Independents who back him as leader.
I am trying to find out the position of who has joined this grouping (for want of a better word), it is a never boring !
