This gets boring to repeat time and time again but a video doing the rounds clearly shows the serious safety issues at the Old Horns Island.

For years the three councils involved, Birmingham, Walsall and Sandwell have all ignored please to make this road safer. Maybe because it crosses three council areas it is difficult to get proper speeding measures on it.

This map from the THINK Charity (LINK) shows all the reported incidents they collate and obviously on to a certain point.

Birmingham Council despite their issues are restricting all traffic to 30MPH and presume this will cover their section of the road. However without enforcement what is the point.

I call again upon all the agencies involved to get the police out there on this racetrack at times and to get average speed cameras installed plus other measures to slow the traffic down.
