So on the 23/12/2013 a letter below was sent to people announcing the official application by BCG LAKES for the development of Great Barr Hall and the surrounding area. the letter is below.

You now have 21 days to comment on the application from the 23/12. I have to say issuing the application that close to Christmas feels wrong and gives short time to look at the relevant documentation before the closure of comments. However that is the situation we are in.
