Apologies due to the lack of updates but I have had a few issues to sort out.

On the Library let me make it clear regardless of my party affiliation I support the continuation of the Library on Pheasey. This is 100% clear I hope and I will be submitting my thoughts to the consultation which closes on the 10th December – LINK

I urge anyone with an interest to submit their constructive thoughts to the process.

We have also seen two planning applications on the local Green Belt.

One is application 14/1552/FL to build on the Foxhills riding school for 4 homes

The other is application 14/1563/FL to build 2 homes replacing barns on Old Hall farm.

Both of these come from the same planning company.

As you may know the planning application for Gt Barr Hall is currently waiting further details.

I am not sure if honest where I stand on especially the Foxhills application. My gut feeling is to agree with Walsall FOE on this application. However if the alternative is that the riding school is to close and land lies derelict is this acceptable. I would wonder what people’s views are on this ?
