In the 70s, when the snow was thick and crunchy. The entire estate would walk up the Beacon Rd. to sledge down the hill on Barr Beacon. I think they planted trees there now. Reply
I just used to sled on the school playing fields, easier then and easier to get through the fence ! Reply
